September was an action-packed month for two-wheeler enthusiasts. And October 2021 seems no different, with several interesting two-wheeler launches lined up. Here’s a rundown:
TVS 125cc Scooter
TVS Motors is set to introduce another 125cc offering this month. The new offering was teased recently, with the tagline reading ‘Come Experience The More’. We believe this will be TVS' 125cc commuter scooter aimed to take on the Honda Activa 125 and the Suzuki Access 125. For more details, check out this story.
Hero XPulse 200 4V And Xtreme 160R Stealth Edition
The Hero XPulse 200 has a lot of potential. But one place where it suffers is highway capabilities. To fix this, Hero is set to launch the XPulse 200 4V. It’s basically the XPulse 200 but with a 4-valve setup which will help the engine breathe better, thus bumping up power and improving its highway capabilities. Check out its spy shots in our story.
Alongside the ADV, Hero is also planning to launch the Xtreme 160R in a stealthy matte black edition which was spotted recently. This lends a sinister look to the already good-looking XTreme 160R and would certainly help promote sales
2022 KTM RC 200 And RC 125
The 2022 KTM RC 200 and the RC 125 will finally set foot in India this month. According to our sources, the bikes will be launched by the end of this month.
For 2022, both bikes have undergone a major overhaul, with the biggest talking point being the all-new design. Both bikes bid adieu to their previous twin projector headlamp setup and bear a new all-LED headlamp with boomerang-type LED DRLs. Along with this, the 2021 models feature new instrument consoles, new bolt-on sub-frames, new alloy wheels, and new seats. For full details and expected pricing, check out our story.

BMW C 400 GT
BMW has been teasing the C 400 GT maxi-scooter for India via its social media channels, hinting at an imminent launch. While we expected it to arrive last month, it looks like the plans were delayed and the C 400 GT will finally arrive this month. Unlike the maxi-style scooters we’re used to seeing, the C 400 GT will be India’s first proper max-scooter bearing many interesting features, which you can check out here.
Ducati Hypermotard 950
2021 is turning out to be a treat for Ducati fans. With eight BS6 bikes already in its portfolio, the Italian bike maker will be launching the Hypermotard 950 this month. The Hypermotard, Ducati’s hooligan supermoto-type offering, is powered by a 937cc, L-twin engine, which it shares with the Multistrada 950, the SuperSport 950 and the 2021 Monster. It comes with all the bells and whistles like a TFT instrument cluster, extensive electronics, LED illumination, and a USB power socket. It was recently updated to meet Euro 5 norms and a new livery inspired by Ducati’s MotoGP bike. Read all about it in our story.
