Aston Martin and James Bond are the perfect match for five decades now. What started a cult following with the legendary DB5 is now following on with a stunning new car, christened DB10. The DB10 will feature in the next installment of the Spy thriller ‘Spectre’ in November 2015. Aston Martin says the car has been built specifically for the Bond film.
The Aston Martin DB10 will be built in house by the design and engineering team. Although it shows no signs of a gadget laden car, there is a good chance of the cool gimmicks making a comeback with the DB10. The DB10 is unlike larger Aton Martins we’ve seen in the current portfolio. It looks sleek, low slung and with a roofline similar to that of the F-Type Coupe. No specifications of the car have been revealed yet. Aston Martin will build 10 units of this rare sportscar.
Crucially, the DB10 gives a glimpse to the future design direction for the next generation of Aston Martins says the release and that makes this design very interesting. The signature grille carries over but the high set haunches, roofline and overall stance indicates of a much sportier approach than Aston Martins of the current generation.
