Audi has unveiled the new 2015 RS7 Sportback, with a modestly refreshed makeover and a sprinkling of tech changes. The RS7 Sportback facelift comes with a new single frame grille with black honeycomb just like on other RS models, as well as with sharper corners.
Audi has offered three optional packages – matt aluminum, gloss black and carbon for the 2015 RS7 Sportback. Like the Audi A7 and the S7, the RS7 Sportback features more angular LED headlights, a sharper version of Audi's trademarked single frame radiator grille and a new bumper with two large air dams. The cosmetic updates carried out to the rear end of the RS7 include re-profiled tail lamps. The car also gets 21-inch gloss black wheels.
Moving inside, the interiors are given a new feel with the modified instruments cluster, shift paddles and altered controls for the air vents. Paving way for the new technologies, the optional Multi Media Interface (MMI) Plus infotainment system receives an update, in the form of a faster Nvidia graphics processor for faster operation.
The refreshed 2015 Audi RS7 Sportback is equipped with a 4.0-litre TFSI V8 twin-turbocharged engine which produces 565PS of power and a massive 700Nm of torque. Power is directed to all four-wheels via a permanent quattro all-wheel-drive system and an eight-speed automatic gearbox. The car sprints from 0-100kmph in 3.9 seconds with a top-speed of 305kmph.
Sales of the 2015 Audi RS7 Sportback are set to begin by September this year. The car is priced approximately at Rs 67.07 lakh in Europe. Currently the 2014 Audi RS7 Sportback is being sold in India at Rs 1.28 crore. (Also read: Audi RS7: Review). We expect the refreshed 2015 Audi RS7 Sportback to make its way to the Indian shores.
