2015 Hyundai Elantra facelift launched in India at Rs 14.13 lakh

The new Hyundai Elantra facelift has been launched in India at Rs 14.13 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) and will be available with both petrol and diesel engines. The 2015 facelifted Elantra will go up against the likes of the recently launched Volkswagen Jetta, Skoda Octavia and the Toyota Corolla Altis amongst other.
2015 Hyundai Elantra facelift launched

Hyundai has launched the updated and facelifted version of the Elantra in India. The petrol powered 2015 facelifted Elantra will be priced between Rs 14.13-16.50 lakh (ex-showroom, Mumbai) while the diesel versions will be priced between Rs 14.58-17.94 lakh. The facelifted Elantra comes packed with a host of exterior and interior upgrades as compared to its predecessor.

On the exterior front, the Elantra now gets a redesigned front bumper and a new chrome grille. The new headlamps incorporate projector technology along with LED guide lights. The rear bumpers too have been reworked and now incorporate a dual tipped exhaust setup. The LED tail lamps and the 10-spoke 16-inch wheels add to the look of the car. Hyundai has heavily used chrome on the Elantra including door handles and a chrome window belt-line.

As we mentioned earlier, the Elantra comes with two engine options, a petrol and a diesel. The 1.8-litre, 4-cylinder, VVT petrol engine makes 149.5PS of peak power and 177Nm of torque while the 1.6-litre 4-cylinder diesel comes with 128PS of peak power and 289Nm of peak torque. The 2015 facelifted Elantra will go up against the likes of the recently launched Volkswagen Jetta, Skoda Octavia and the Toyota Corolla Altis amongst other.
