[UPDATE: Honda has launched the CB500X, its first motorcycle of the 500cc series, at an eye-watering Rs 6.87 lakh (ex-showroom). Head here for all the launch details of the mid-displacement Honda ADV.]
For 2020, Honda has given its CB400X subtle design updates. The cross-over motorcycle now gets a brand-new white colour. Both the black and white colours now get red accents with small camouflage vinyl. Aside from that, the bike doesn’t get any additional features.
The CB400X is only sold in Japan as the country’s licensing laws limit the cubic capacity for beginners bikes to 400cc. Globally, the 500cc version of the bike is sold and Honda India has said that it is considering bringing the CB500X to India. Hence, it is likely that this new colour will appear on the CB500X as well.
The CB500X’s parallel-twin mill produces an honest 47PS and 43Nm, which is nearabout the same as the KTM 390 Duke or the Kawasaki Ninja 400. What favours this Honda engine is that it is one of the creamiest motors in the business. We absolutely fell in love with the bike when we had a short spin on it a couple of years ago. Head here to read what it is all about.
