Kawasaki has introduced new paint options for the Z900RS and the Z900RS Cafe. While the Cafe variant sports a new blue-ish hue, the standard variant now features two new paint options - plain black and dark green with yellow stripes.
Apart from these minute aesthetical changes, both variants remain mechanically unchanged. So you get the same 948cc, 4-cylinder engine as the Kawasaki Z900. This motor churns out 124.7PS of power in the Z900 and develops 111.5PS on the RS Cafe. The torque output, however, remains the same at 98.5Nm, which arrives at 6500rpm. The frame is suspended on 41mm adjustable USD fork up front and a gas-charged monoshock unit at the back, which is adjustable for both rebound and preload. However, expect Kawasaki to make small changes to the motorcycles in the future to meet new European emission norms.

Now, before you decide to sign the dotted line, we have some news that might put you off. These new colour options have been launched in the international markets and there’s no word from Kawasaki when it’ll bring these to our shores. If it does come here, you might have to shell out a bit more than the standard variant of the Z900RS, which is priced at Rs 15.7 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).
