Ducati India is all set to launch the 2021 SuperSport 950 in India on 9 September. Updates include better aerodynamics thanks to a designed front end, improved electronics and a new 4.3-inch TFT dash.
The fairing and headlight for instance had been revised to look a lot more aggressive than before, almost Panigale like. The fairing is also longer and extends all the way to the side-mounted twin-barrel exhaust. As for the V4-inspired air ducts, they divert heat away from the rider.
The bike now comes equipped with a six-axis Bosch IMU unit that monitors and controls cornering ABS, traction control and wheelie control. The updated electronic package also includes three riding modes-- Urban, Touring and Sports as well as a bi-directional quickshifter as standard. All of this can be tweaked via a new 4.3-inch TFT dash inspired by the Panigale family.

Powering the SuperSport is a BS6-compliant Testastretta 937cc engine that makes 110PS at 9000rpm and 93Nm at 6500rpm, same as the outgoing model. In terms of underpinnings, the bike uses twin 320mm discs clamped onto Brembo M4.32 calipers at the front and a 245mm disc at the rear paired to a Brembo twin-pot caliper. The suspension setup is the same as before
We believe Ducati may price the 2021 SuperSport around the Rs 13 lakh mark. It will be available in two trims: Standard and 'S', where the latter is equipped with fully adjustable Ohlins suspension.
