The HTK+ petrol-DCT and diesel-automatic have been axed. In place of that will be the HTX as the new entry-level automatic variant. This means you now have to shell out an additional Rs 50,000 to Rs 70,000 to get your hands on an entry-level Sonet automatic.
Prices for the 2021 Sonet have been increased by up to Rs 30,000. Only the base HTE 1.2-litre petrol has been spared from the hike.
Now that prices are sorted, let's delve more into what’s new for the 2021 Sonet:
Paddle Shifters for all automatic Sonet trims ( HTX 7DCT, GTX+ 7DCT, HTX AT, GTX+ AT)
Opening/closing of sunroof via voice commands ( HTX+, GTX+)
Rear door sunshade curtains (HTX, HTX+, GTX+)
Aside from new features, Kia has also managed to bring in some features from the top-spec variants lower down the lineup.
