EXCLUSIVE: Could The Constellation Be The Upcoming Royal Enfield...

If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it--that’s the age-old adage and it holds true even today. The Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 is already a pretty commendable motorcycle, so for 2021, RE hasn’t done much to tweak it. Instead, to help keep it just fresh enough to be appealing, the brand has given it new colour schemes, some of which are rather snazzy.
Returning for 2021 is an old favourite: Baker’s Express. We’re delighted to see that this lovely red and white option hasn’t been shown the door for 2021.
The only other colour to be carried over from last year is Orange Crush. Judging by the Intys on our roads, this definitely seems to be one of the more popular schemes on the Interceptor.
The first new colour scheme is called Downtown Drag. Silver and grey are pretty dull colours by themselves, but the injection of electric blue adds a whole lot of flair and vibrance to this paint option, making it one of our favourites.
You can’t go wrong with red. The Interceptor has received a simple but elegant Canyon Red paint option for 2021.
Sunset Strip is another winner from Royal Enfield. Seemingly developed from the Baker’s Express option, this new paint scheme features a black and red combo that it’s hard to go wrong with, plus golden pinstriping between the two primary colours. Aces in our book.
One option that’s been carried over from the Continental GT 650 to the Interceptor is this Ventura Blue shade, which is a great choice if you want a simple but uncommon colour scheme.
The final new colour option for 2021 is called Mark 2. With its chrome and red combination, it’s the spiritual successor to Glitter & Dust, the previous chrome colour scheme for the Inty. And it looks better than its predecessor, in our opinion.
