Honda launched the 2025 Activa in India and has updated it with tons of new features. But how does the highest selling scooter in India compare against the TVS Jupiter 110 in terms of features? Lets have a detailed dive into it.
The 2025 Honda Activa gets a new 4.2-inch TFT screen which is quite clear and simple to read. The display supports Bluetooth connectivity and displays call & SMS alerts, and turn-by-turn navigation via Honda RoadSync Duo app. The display also shows the tachometer, speed, real-time fuel mileage indicator, time, fuel level, eco riding indicator and basic telltale lights. It gets a 5-way joystick to navigate through the TFT menu and a side stand engine cutoff indicator.
The TVS Jupiter gets an negatively-lit LCD instrument cluster which is too Bluetooth compatible and has voice assisted turn-by-turn navigation. The display is quite simple and easy to read with the speedometer right in the centre. Other information displayed is of the available range, odometer, trip meters, time and smartphone battery status.
The Honda Activa has a USB-C charging port located on the front apron. The Activa now also gets an idle stop-start system which Honda claims will increase the overall mileage of the scooter along with an external fuel filler cap which is located just above the taillight.
The Jupiter has a USB-A charging port which is located on the apron and it receives TVS’ version of stop-start system which they claim improves fuel efficiency. The Jupiter’s fuel cap is located on the front apron which adds to the practicality aspect of the scooter.
Both the Activa and the Jupiter get OBD-2B compliant engines. The Activa makes 7.8PS and 9.05Nm while the Jupiter makes 8.02PS and 9.2Nm. The TVS, though, gets iGo assist which is essentially a torque boost of 0.6Nm allowing the scooter to overtake faster.

The major difference when it comes to the underpinnings is, the Jupiter’s top variant gets a disc brake while the Activa still does not in any variant.
The 2025 Honda Activa comes in three variants: STD, DLX and H-Smart and the prices start from Rs 80,950 (ex-showroom, Delhi). Honda has not yet announced the price for the mid-level and the top-spec variant.
The TVS Jupiter is available in four variants: Drum, Drum Alloy, Drum SXC and Disc SXC. The base variant starts from Rs 74,691 up to Rs 87,791 (ex-showroom, Delhi).
While the new Activa does get a TFT display, it comes at a price which is marginally higher than the Jupiter. Where Jupiter shines is in the equipment it gets such as a disc brake, a fuel filler located on the front apron and a hybrid boost for quicker overtakes. If you are someone who fancies a TFT display, the Honda Activa is the scooter you should go for but if you are someone who doesn't mind an LCD console but want a hybrid boost, the Jupiter is your best choice.
