Audi A6 35 TFSI Launched At Rs 52.75 lakh

Audi India has updated its product portfolio with the introduction of the new ‘35 TFSI’ petrol variant of the A6 executive sedan. Competing against the likes of the Mercedes-Benz E200 and the BMW 520i, Audi has launched the A6 35 TFSI at Rs 52.75 lakh (ex-showroom, New Delhi).

Under the hood, the Audi A6 35 TFSI gets a 1.8-litre four-cylinder turbocharged petrol motor that puts out 190PS of power with 320Nm of peak torque. The same engine is shared by its parent company Volkswagen Group with other brands under its umbrella. The engine comes coupled to a 7-speed S-tronic transmission and can take the A6 from 0-100 in 7.9 seconds. The car features different driving modes that can be switched on the move; they include -- Auto, Efficiency, Comfort, Dynamic and Individual. Audi is the only manufacturer to offer adaptive air suspension in the A6, compared to its rivals in the market.

Apart from the new engine option, the A6 35 TFSI is almost identical to its diesel variant. The petrol variant gets the ‘Matrix’ LED headlamps that come with the dynamic turns indicators. Other stand out features include the signature chromed hexagonal grille, LED tail lamps and the 18-inch alloy wheels.

For the interiors, the A6 comes with high-quality leather upholstery, electrical adjustment for the front seats, four-zone climate control. The car features an 8-inch infotainment MMI unit that is retractable and comes wired to a Bose audio system with 14-speakers.
