Kia Motors India has launched the Carnival premium MPV at Auto Expo 2020. Priced from Rs 24.95 lakh (ex-showroom), the 2020 Carnival sits above the tried-and-tested Toyota Innova Crysta. It also comes with a host of premium features and various seating layouts depending on the variant you pick. Further, the Carnival has already reaped success, racking up 3,200 bookings ahead of launch. Here are five things you need to know about Kia’s premium MPV:
Seating Layout And Variants:
The Kia Carnival is available in three variants: Premium, Prestige and Limousine. It can be had with 7, 8 or even 9 seats depending on the variant you pick. All three variants can be had in a seven seater configuration. Meanwhile, the premium variant can be had as an 8-seater while the Prestige variant is offered as a 9-seater as well. Top-spec Limousine variant can be had with 7-seats only and comes with Kia’s VIP seats, which offer more comfort.
Exterior Design:
The exterior design of the Carnival MPV is subtle and premium. It comes with Kia’s trademark tiger nose grille flanked by projector LED headlamps. Large Ice Cube LED fog lamps give the MPV bucket loads of presence, especially when lit at night. At the side, the Carnival looks like a typical MPV with the only highlight being the chrome plated alloy wheels. Moving on to the rear, the Carnival comes with LED tail lamps and a sleek chrome strip.
Interior Design And Features:
Inside, the Carnival comes with a clean and simple dashboard design. Feature highlights include connected car technology, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, wireless phone charger, rear electric sliding doors, rear entertainment screens, a powered tailgate as well as tri-zone climate control. Safety features include 6 airbags, ABS with EBD, front and rear parking sensors, a rearview camera as well as electronic stability control. For a detailed variant-wise specification list, head here.
