Bajaj Avenger Cruise Soon To Get 'Cocktail Wine Red’ Colour Option

Bajaj Auto will soon be introducing a new colour variant of the Avenger Cruise 220 model. Leaked images of the motorcycle with the new colour option have surfaced on the internet. The new colour shade is identical to the recently introduced 'Cocktail Wine Red' for the Bajaj V15. The new colour variant comes with black graphics on the fuel tank and side panels. Apart from this, the cruiser remains mechanically unchanged.

The motorcycle is powered by a 220cc oil-cooled single cylinder engine with DTS-i technology. The motor is capable of producing 19PS of power and 17.5Nm of peak torque. It comes mated to a 5-speed constant mesh gearbox. The cruiser motorcycle has a fuel tank capacity of 14-litres and is claimed by the manufacturer to return a mileage of 49kmpl. The motorcycle comes with telescopic forks at the front and dual shock absorbers at the rear. Braking duties are handled by 260mm disc brake at the front and 130mm drum brakes at the rear.

The Avenger Cruise 220 has a low-slung seat with raised handlebar for a comfortable riding posture. It also features a front windscreen to deflect wind blast. Bajaj had recently launched the Desert Gold colour option with no change to the existing price tag of Rs 85,697 (ex-showroom, New Delhi). The new Cocktail Wine Red colour scheme is also likely to be introduced with the same price tag. The company currently offers three models for the Avenger series - Cruise 220, Street 220 and the Street 150.
