[UPDATE: Bajaj has launched the Pulsar F250 and the N250 in India at Rs 1.40 lakh and Rs 1.38 lakh respectively. For more details on the specifications, availability and features, head to our launch story.]
The next chapter in the legacy of the Bajaj Pulsar commences tomorrow with the launch of the largest Pulsar ever made: the Pulsar 250. Bajaj has built this new Pulsar 250 from the ground up to spawn the next generation of Pulsars. We expect Bajaj to price the bike extremely aggressively, perhaps even undercut the current-gen Pulsar 220F.
What makes this deal all the more droolworthy is the new engine. Yes, it isn’t going to be a technological marvel, while still staying true to the Pulsar DNA. That said, the 250cc motor will be air-/oil-cooled and pump out around 24-25PS.
The revised foundation of the Pulsar series will now be suspended by a chunky telescopic fork and monoshock setup. The Pulsar NS-inspired alloy wheels as well as petal disc rotors at both ends will also be employed on the Pulsar 250.
Bajaj will offer the bike in two versions: the standard Pulsar 250 and the half-faired Pulsar 250F. Stay tuned to our site for all the launch updates.
