BMW G 310 R And G 310 GS Bookings Commence

After facing several delays, BMW Motorrad has finally started accepting bookings for the G 310 R and G 310 GS in India. Customers can now head to any BMW Motorrad showroom in the country to reserve the naked streetfighter or its adventure tourer version for a token amount of Rs 50,000. Deliveries of the motorcycle will be conducted on a first-come-first-serve basis as per orders. 

Both motorcycles share the same 313cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine. This motor churns out 35PS of power and 28Nm of peak torque, mated to a 6-speed gearbox. The G 310 R will compete against the KTM 390 Duke and Benelli TNT 300. The G 310 GS, on the other hand, will be offered as an alternative to the Royal Enfield Himalayan, which is currently the most affordable adventure tourer in the country.

The company hasn’t given any hints regarding the pricing or the launch of both motorcycles. However, we expect them to arrive here in the coming weeks. Unfortunately, both the motorcycles are expected to fetch a premium price tag. We expect the G 310 R to be priced in the region of Rs 3 lakh (ex-showroom), while the G 310 GS might carry a higher price tag of Rs 3.5 lakh (ex-showroom). Although it's good to know that the Bavarian twins are finally coming to India after a two-year wait, is it a little too late to make a mark in its segment?

The Wait is Over: Pre-bookings to open for BMW Motorrad G 310 R and the BMW G 310 GS.

Gurgaon: BMW Motorrad India will open pre-bookings for the most-awaited motorcycles in India – the BMW G 310 R and the BMW G 310 GS – from 8 June 2018 onwards.

Customers will be able to pre-book the BMW G 310 R and the BMW G 310 GS motorcycles ahead of the official launch for an amount of INR 50,000. Pre-booking can be done at any authorised BMW Motorrad dealership across the country. Deliveries will be done on a first-come-first-serve basis as per orders.
