- All four bikes are good in their forte. BMW G 310 GS looks just like larger GS cousins, Comfortable upright ergos for touring, Is the lightest ADV in its class. Good looks, healthy performance, competent underpinnings, and a host of features. All for just Rs 1.92 lakh. If you’re looking for the best bang for your buck, nothing eclipses the Dominar 400 in the sub-2 lakh rupee price bracket. Whereas, if you're looking for a light, powerful, sharp-handling sportbike that'll help you hone your skills, the KTM RC 390 makes perfect sense. However, the bike's committed riding posture means it's more suited for track than a road. And in that case, you could consider the TVS Apache RR 310 which has been significantly improved post its BS6 update. The Royal Enfield Himalayan was the motorcycle that kick-started the affordable adventure touring genre in India in 2016. Despite the arrival of new rivals, it continues to outshine them as an all-rounder. RE has ironed out the majority of the issues that plagued the first-gen motorcycle, but brakes still remain an Achilles heel. - Both the bikes are good in their forte. The TRK 251 is powered by a 250cc single-cylinder motor putting out 26PS and 21.1Nm, mated to a six-speed gearbox. While these numbers aren’t class-leading, the TRK 251’s low weight of 164kg (dry) and class-leading 18-litre fuel tank should make it a good bike to go the distance. On the other hand, As a mini adventure tourer, the BMW G 310 GS fails to impress us greatly. It just about does the adventure and touring bit well and if we are talking performance, it could have been tuned differently. Even different suspension tuning could help its case immensely in increasing the fun quotient. The only place where it impressed us is in the urban jungle. Add to that the fact that it looks big and the build quality is top notch (sparing a few blemishes). It does have better road presence than the G 310 R too. In fact, it does look like a GS. 4.2Premium cars
The BMW bs6 310 GS is a perfect all-rounder bike in the city, because of its less weight you can filter through very easily. Even getting bike reverse is also easy. Comfort level is compared to bigger cc bikes. You will not feel any potholes at all. I believe the money you are paying for suspension is not for the brand. Even the mileage is good for a bike like this I have always got a minimum of 30kmpl in the city. Bike presence is one of the plus points. Bike maintenance is very high for a 300 cc bike. It's even higher than some premium cars. Personally, I had a very bad delivery experience as well. Was not expecting this from a brand like BMW for that reason will never buy BMW again.
