Suzuki updated its Burgman Street maxi-styled scooter to meet the BS6 emission norms in February. Three months on and Suzuki has decided to increase the asking price of the maxi-styled scooter by Rs 1,800. Here’s the new price:

There are no new changes to report on the Burgman Street. In February, Suzuki updated the 124cc single-cylinder engine with a fuel injection system to comply with the BS6 norms. The BS6 motor’s output remains more or less the same as the BS4 version. While power remains constant at 8.7PS, peak torque has gone down by 0.2Nm, at 10Nm. The BS6 update has made the scooter heavier by 2kg, now tipping the scales at 110kg.
We wish Suzuki brings the Burgman Street MotoGP edition that it showed at Auto Expo 2020 soon. The scooter looked quite appealing in the traditional blue and yellow livery. Although, if truth be told, we hope that Suzuki updates it to match the 2020 GSX-RR that now dorns a blue and silver livery. Wouldn’t that be enticing now?
