Yamaha India unveiled the Fascino 125 Hybrid FI last month and has now finally announced its pricing. The drum brake variant has been priced at Rs 70,000 while the disc brake variant will set you back by Rs 76,530. Interestingly, the outgoing model was priced at Rs 72,030 (Drum) and Rs 75,530 (DLX Disc). The scooters will be available in the market by the end of this month.
The latest Fascino 125 is powered by a 125cc air-cooled motor producing 8.2PS and 10.3Nm. One of the major updates comes in the form of the Smart Motor Generator (SMG) which acts as an electric motor to give a power assist when you accelerate from a standstill.
The Fascino 125 Hybrid receives a host of new features such as an all-LED headlamp and tail lamp and a digital instrument cluster with Bluetooth connectivity. Using the Yamaha Motorcycle Connect X app, the rider can access features like vehicle location, answer back, riding history, parking record, and the hazard lamp function. However, the said features are only employed on the front disc brake variant. There’s also an optional USB charging port for added convenience
The underpinnings have been retained from the standard model. Yamaha offers the Fascino 125 FI Hybrid in as many as nine colours for the disc brake version and seven colours for the drum brake model.
The Yamaha Fascino 125 FI Hybrid rivals the Honda Activa 125, Suzuki Access 125 and the TVS NTorq 125.
