Chevrolet Beat Diesel test drive available

The diesel avatar of the Chevrolet Beat is now on display at GM showrooms across the country. The dealers are also offering test drives and a chance to book the car in advance.

The Chevrolet Beat Diesel has been one of the most awaited launches this year and with the car set to grace Indian roads officially from the 25th of this month, this wait is finally becoming a reality. In fact GM India has already authorised their dealers to display the vehicle, offer test drives and take advance bookings.

The diesel Beat is expected to be priced between Rs 4.30 lakhs to Rs 5.30 lakhs depending on the trim level. The booking amount for the car is Rs. 25,000/- with a speculative waiting period of around one month. The car will be available in four trim versions namely PS, LS, LT and LT Option, which are the same as its petrol sibling.

The Chevy Beat diesel is powered by a 1 litre, 3 cylinder turbocharged diesel engine that promises to offer exceptional driving dynamics and an ARAI claimed mileage of 24 kilometers to the litre.(Read: Beat Diesel details revealed)
