Remember Cleveland Cyclewerks? It’s the same bike maker that shut its shops in India a couple of months back. Now, it is all set to launch its first electric motorcycle, the Falcon, on March 3… but not in India. Well, for obvious reasons. The motorcycle is still a few weeks away from its debut, but the brand has already shared the spec sheet and honestly, it’s pretty amazing!

There will be two variants on offer: standard and Founders Edition (limited to 20 units). While Cleveland hasn’t shared any images of the motorcycle yet, a design sketch is available on the website, and by the looks of it, the Falcon is a no-nonsense electric motorcycle with a big battery pack stuck right in the middle. The base variant gets a 2.2kWh battery while the top-spec variant comes with a 4.4kWh battery. Cleveland claims the entry-level model has a range of 129km and the top-end variant offers 257km, which is one of the highest we have ever seen. And it takes just 1 hour 30 minutes to fully juice up.
It’s not like Cleveland has restricted the top speed to 25kmph or 30kmph to get this astronomical range. The Founder Edition has a claimed top speed of over 135kmph and even the standard variant can go over 100kmph.
Thank god it’s not coming to India, because if it did come, it would be very expensive as the international models are priced at Rs 5.72 lakh and Rs 11.4 lakh.
