Mahindra BE 6e and XEV 9e: Unleashing An Electric Revolution

With the second wave of the pandemic affecting the entire country, carmakers have once again offered some respite to customers during this lockdown. Customers whose warranty of free service period expires during this period will get an extension of about two months. Several carmakers, including Maruti Suzuki, Hyundai and Kia, have announced extensions. Here’s the complete list:
Renault is offering an extension till July 31 to customers whose warranty period and free service expire between April 1 and May 31.
Maruti Suzuki’s extension can be availed by customers whose warranty and free services expire between March 15 and May 31. These will now be valid till June 30.
Mahindra has extended the dates for warranty and free service to July 31. However, this extension is only valid if the services expire between April and May.
Kia has offered a two-month extension for scheduled services expiring during this lockdown period. Meanwhile, Hyundai has extended the warranty period by two months for those living in cities under lockdown.
MG has revised the dates for warranty period and free service expiring between April and May, to July 31.
Nissan has offered an extension of two months on extended warranty and free services.
Tata is also offering some respite by granting an extension till June 30 for those whose warranty period and free service expire between April and May.
Toyota is offering a month-long extension on warranty, free service, and prepaid service package for those living in cities under lockdown. The carmaker has also launched BactaKlenz, a non-chemical fumigation treatment for any car at a stipulated price.
Skoda has pushed the deadline for services, which were due between April and June, to July 31, 2021.
Volkswagen has offered an extension till June 30, 2021 on the period of extended warranty and free service expiring between April and May.
Mercedes-Benz has extended the deadline till the end of June for free service as well as standard and extended warranty which were set to expire between April 15 and May 31.
Audi India has announced an extension of its service and warranty (standard and extended) packages till June 30, 2021. Previously, these would’ve expired between April and June. We request you contact your nearest Audi dealership for further details.
While these are the only extensions offered currently, other carmakers are expected to follow suit soon. Stay tuned to this space for updates.
