Nissan had introduced the Datsun Go hatch in March this year. The company aimed to target young Indian buyers with the launch of this hatch. The carmaker is, however, still struggling to sell a decent number of the Datsun Go in the country. With an aim to push up its sales, Nissan has come up with lucrative offers on this hatch this month.
The offers available on the Datsun Go total up to Rs 30,000. The offers include an exchange benefit of up to Rs 15,000 and an additional discount of worth Rs 15,000 on the D, D1 and A variants of the Datsun Go. Customers will be able to claim the benefits till December 31, 2014.
Nissan's budget car, the Datsun Go comes equipped with features such as speed sensitive electric wipers, follow me home headlamps, power steering, front power windows and Mobile Docking Station (MDS).
The Datsun Go is available with a 1.2-litre petrol engine that churns out 68PS of power and 104Nm of torque. The engine is mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox. The car delivers fuel-efficiency figures of 20.6kmpl. Available in four different trims namely the D, D1, A and T, the car is retailed between the price range of Rs 3.12 lakh and Rs 3.70 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).
