Imagine a bike churning power of nearly 1500hp and capable of reaching speeds of 200mph (320km/h) in less than seven seconds. This is what the Gulf Oil Dragracing is all about.

The Kunmadaras track in Hungary is well known for being notorious for lack of grip that is a pre-requisite for all the high-powered vehicles that burn rubber on the rack. The quarter-mile former Soviet Nuclear Bomber airfield track is not just host to the Top Fuel Bike category but also sees four other categories – Super Twin Bike, Pro Stock Bike, Funny Bike, and Superstreet apart from other car categories as well.

Top Fuel Bike of Gulf Dragracing

The Gulf Oil Dragracing team had a phenomenal first appearance in the Top Fuel Bike category this year. The 1500horsepower mean machine blew everyone off their feet clocking a 6.57 second run to a speed of 200mph (320km/h).

Despite the racing un-friendly characteristics of the track, the team and the bike had a good start and gave the team a good warm up for the upcoming race on one of the fastest tracks in Europe Santa Pod Raceway, UK. The next race is scheduled for 27-30 May.
