The Mercedes-Benz B-Class has been available in India for a while now and has done well in terms of sales. Mercedes-Benz has just updated the B-Class with a new facelifted version that is expected in India early next year. The new B-Class features a set of subtle styling upgrades both on the interior and exterior front.

On the outside, the 2015 Mercedes-Benz B-Class features an additional AMG-spec trim. This includes a set of bigger air intakes on the bumpers, reminiscent of of the E63 or S63 AMGs. The rear bumper too has been refreshed with a set of integrated dual exhausts and a chrome strip that interconnects the two. The B-Class will also be available with a range of new alloy wheels including a set of large 19-inch AMG wheels. The new 2015 Mercedes-Benz B-Class will also come with a set of LED headlamps for the first time.

On the inside there's a larger, eight-inch freestanding display that displays all the media, navigation and automotive functions. The B-Class also gets the same ambient lighting system that one gets in the S-Class limousine. In fact, in the B-Class, owners get an option of 12 shades of color to choose from depending on their mood.

In terms of engines, the Mercedes-Benz B-Class will be powered by the B180 petrol and B180 diesel engines. The B180 CGi petrol engine is a 1.6-litre, 4-cylinder, turbocharged petrol engine that makes 122PS of peak power and 200Nm of peak torque. The B180, with its 1.5-litre CDi diesel engine on the other hand offers 110PS of peak power and 260Nm of peak torque. The diesel engine, made in collaboration, is essentially the same one used in the likes of the Duster and the Nissan Terrano.

Expect the new 2015 Mercedes-Benz B-Class to make it to India in either February or March of next year post the Mercedes CLA-Class and Mercedes C-Class launches.
