Suzuki to launch new Hayate EP in March

Suzuki Motorcycle India Private Limited (SMIPL) launched the updated version of the Hayate. The new Suzuki Hayate has been priced at Rs 44,969 Ex-Showroom-Delhi and bookings for the bike has commenced at Suzuki dealerships across the country. As part of the facelift, the new Suzuki Hayate gets restyled graphics and fully painted side cowl. Other additional features on the new Suzuki Hayate include maintenance free battery and tubeless tyres.
Speaking at the launch of the new Hayate, Atul Gupta, Executive Vice President, Suzuki Motorcycle India Private Limited, (SMIPL) said, “The brand new look for the Hayate is very attractive and the upgraded features mean that owners of the new Hayate get a smoother and more convenient ride on a striking motorcycle. At Suzuki, our endeavour is to constantly improve our products to ensure that we continuously satisfy our customers. The Hayate has performed well in all markets. We are sure that the new Hayate will provide a further impetus to our numbers.”
No changes have been made on the mechanical front as the new Suzuki Hayate will be powered by the same 112cc motor as seen on the old bike. The air-cooled, single-cylinder mill pushes out 8.3PS at 7,500rpm and peak torque of 8.8Nm at 5,500rpm. Power is transmitted to the rear-wheel via a 4-speed transmission whereas braking is done by drum brakes at front and rear. The new Suzuki Hayate will be offered in five colour options – Glass Sparkle Black- Red Graphic Glass Sparkle Black- Blue Graphic, Pearl Mirage White, Pearl Mira Red/Glass Sparkle Black and Pearl Moon Stone Grey.
