The prototype of the upcoming model was spotted recently in Maranello

Ferrari just dropped a teaser for a new addition to its already iconic list of supercars.

Though there’s no name, or even a glimpse of the car, there is a debut date: June 24. The lack of information leaves room for a lot of speculation, but recent sightings of a prototype could be a hint of things to come.

Reports indicate that this model is codenamed “F171.” A heavily camouflaged prototype was spotted in Maranello and it appeared to be the entry-level model that Ferrari was working on. This model is likely to be powered by a twin-turbo V6 hybrid and could take the fight to Porsche and McLaren.

The teaser features Ferrari Driver Academy’s Esports Driver, David Tonizza, driving a simulated lap through what seems to be Mugello. With all information kept strictly under wraps, we’ll all have to wait till June 24 for more details. However, that won’t stop us from being excited about what the Prancing Horse has in store for us.
