Fiat inaugurates third exclusive dealership

Fiat’s Indian subsidiary has finally begun to spread its own wings and fly in its chosen direction. Sky Moto located in Pune’s Chichwad area is now the brand’s third exclusive showroom in the city. 

The showroom facility located in the city’s prime industrial area comprises of 11,000 sq ft of space with display of 5 cars and a 26,000 sq ft state of the art workshop.

With the rapid expansion of its independent dealership network pan India. From April – August 2013 the Italian car maker has opened 70 exclusive dealerships and plans to have as many as 100 dealerships accessible to customers across the length and breadth of the country by the end of the year.

Nagesh Basavanhalli, President and Managing Director, Fiat Chrysler India Operations, who inaugurated the new dealership said “Fiat India views Pune as a very strategic market and the inauguration of an exclusive dealership is in accordance with our strategy to capitalize on this potential. With Sky Moto, we are associated with a partner who has over 40 years of experience and market knowledge of the automobile trade.”

Gajanan Babar, Director, Sky Moto, who was also present at the inauguration said, “With an experienced management team we are confident of supporting our products with timely spare parts availability and high quality service through our trained technicians.”

Fiat India is striving towards delivering a great sales and after sales experience to its customers in Pune and the new dealership in Chinchwad will retail its two existent models, the Linea and the Punto along with a series of new launches slated to hit the Indian shores in the coming years. 

For Jeep enthusiasts in India eagerly awaiting its arrival, Fiat Chrysler India has announced that all Jeep models once launched would be sold through brand exclusive dealerships only.
