Good news for Ford India Pvt Ltd. as they have sold over 20,420 units for the month of October in overall sales as compared to 11,630 units in the corresponding month last year, thus resulting in 76 per cent hike in the sales charts. The company's domestic sales were at 10,008 units last month, upped by 49 per cent from 6,723 units in October 2014. Exports during the month stood at 10,412 units as against 4,907 units in October 2014.
"These are exciting times for Ford and our customers in India. With three new products - Figo Aspire, new Figo and new EcoSport - we have ensured that our customers have a cracker of a Diwali," said Anurag Mehrotra, executive director, Marketing, Sales and Service at Ford India.
The word floating around on the market is that the Ford Endeavour Everest will replace the current existing model and is expected to be launched soon in the upcoming festive season. This would help Ford to push their sales figures even further.
