Vanda Electric Dendrobium

Vanda Electric Dendrobium

The Dendrobium concept is an all-electric two-door sportscar which, at the moment, serves the purpose of being a halo car for the Singapore-based Vanda Electric company.

Designed by Vanda, but brought to reality by Williams Advanced Engineering (the same guys who helped make the Jaguar C-X75 and the Nissan Bladeglider etc.), the Dendrobium showcases what an electric supercar of the future could be.

The design is inspired by nature, with a lot of inspiration from the Dendrobium orchid. If it ever does make it to production, Vanda and Williams claim, it will be a 4WD supercar weighing less than 1750kg and will be capable of a 0-100kmph sprint in 2.6 seconds and a top speed of more than 300kmph.

Another almost unknown car company in this list, Eadon Green, is a new car company based in the UK which has showcased its first soon-to-be-produced car - the Black Cullin Coupe. Eadon Green claims that its cars will be retro-modern - with a decidedly old school design and the best of modern tech.

What is known about the Black Cullin Coupe, for now, is that it will have classic luxury sportscar proportions (long hood, short cabin and a stump of a boot), will be powered by a V12 motor with a claimed 7000rpm redline, and a top speed of close to 270kmph. There is no official communication from the company to verify any of this information, though.

Italdesign Automobili Speciali Zerouno

Italdesign Automobili Speciali Zerouno

Italdesign Giugiaro is well known for its role in designing cars for many car manufacturers. Now, it has its own limited-production brand, Italdesign Automobili Speciali. The Zerouno is its first ever production car.

Only five units of the Zerouno will be built, and the lucky owners of the car will be able to customise their cars to their heart's desire. If Zerouno's design looks familiar, it is because it is the brainchild of former Lamborghini design chief Filippo Perini.

The Zerouno features a full carbon-fibre body, a chassis made of aluminium and carbon fibre and is powered by a 5.2-litre V10 motor driving all four wheels. While the power figures have not been revealed yet, the company claims that the Zerouno's 0-100kmph time is 3.2 seconds and has a top speed of 330kmph.

The Morgan EV3 is the British marque's first all-electric car based on the company's popular 3-Wheeler model. It has collaborated with iconic British brand Selfridges to make this occasion special. The first 19 units of the EV3 will be offered in the special UK1909 Selfridges Edition.

The Morgan UK1909 Selfridges Edition will feature a body exclusively painted in black, grey solid wheels, two retro-style round headlamps with LEDs, faux copper cooling fins and copper interior highlights.
