Hero Electric Scooter To Be Unveiled At 2020 Auto Expo

Hero Electric is known for making, err, electric scooters and guess what it is bringing to this year’s expo? Yep, it’s an electric scooter. The manufacturer had shared a teaser image of the upcoming scooter on its social media handles. There were some reports of Hero Electric unveiling a motorcycle at the expo. Heck, there was a spy shot on the internet as well. Now though, it seems like there’ll be an electric scooter at Hero Electric’s stand as well. 

What can we make out from this really blacked-out image? Apart from the fact that it looks sporty and will come with LED headlamp, LED DRLs and what seems like an all-digital instrument cluster, nothing much. Will it come with a swappable battery pack? Probably yes. Will Hero Electric claim a near-triple-digit range and fast charging capabilities? It could. But all this is just speculation for now, until the brand takes the wraps off the real deal in a few days. 

Hero Electric is one of the biggest players in India in the electric two-wheeler segment. As of now, the company boasts of 601 dealerships across 325 cities in India. This huge dealer network surely gives Hero Electric an upper hand over the several EV startups that are out there.
