Hero MotoCorp launched the sporty 125cc scooter, the Xoom 125 at Auto Expo 2025. The scooter comes in two variants: VX and ZX. The base VX variant is priced at Rs 86,900 while the top ZX variant is priced at Rs 92,900 (both prices ex-showroom, Delhi). The scooter gets a lot of features; let’s have a detailed look at what it gets.
The Hero Xoom 125 gets an LCD instrument cluster which is the same as the Xoom 110. The digital display on the Xoom 125 gets smartphone connectivity via Bluetooth which allows for turn-by-turn navigation. The LCD console is pretty easy to read, it displays the speed, fuel levels, trip meters, average speed, time and the odometer.
The Hero Xoom 125 gets all-LED lighting which looks quite sporty, illuminated start button, external fuel filler cap which is located behind the seat, an underseat storage light, sequential indicators and a USB charging port which is located in the front apron.
The Hero Xoom 125 gets a 124.6cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine which makes 9.8PS and 10.4Nm. It gets an inverted fork and single-sided shock absorber.It gets a disc brake at the front and a drum at the rear. The scooter rides on 14-inch alloy wheels. The scooter has a 5-litre fuel tank and, weighs in at 120kg kerb for the VX variant and 121kg kerb for the ZX variant.
The Hero Xoom 125 goes against the TVS Ntorq 125, Honda Activa 125 and the 2025 Suzuki Access 125 in India.
