Honda 2Wheelers has launched the 'Deluxe' edition of the Honda Dio, featuring a host of new features and cosmetic upgrades. The company has set a price tag of Rs 53,292 (ex-Delhi), a hike of Rs 2,996 over the standard model.

The scooter also gets the four-in-one ignition key with seat-release button seen on the Honda Grazia. Mechanically, it continues to be powered by the same 109.19cc single-cylinder engine, which makes 8PS of power at 7000rpm and 8.91Nm of torque at 5500rpm.
The scooter gets an underbone-type chassis with a multi-link suspension at the front and a monoshock unit at the back. The new Honda Dio Deluxe is expected to hit showrooms in the upcoming weeks. It competes against the Yamaha Ray-Z, TVS Wego and the Suzuki Let's. Honda also offers a ‘Deluxe’ version on the new Activa 5G.
