It could bear design cues similar to the newly launched China-specific CB190SS

[UPDATE: The upcoming Honda H'ness CB350-based variant might be a cafe racer. Check out the details in our report.]

Big things are on the horizon for Honda’s Big Wing arena for 2021. We believed the Japanese bikemaker would be looking to bring in the 500cc range of bikes soon enough but instead, the first model for the year in the premium segment is going to be an urban scrambler version of the H’ness CB350. And we think it could be called the CB350SS. Why? Because Honda has launched a new motorcycle just for its China market, called the CB190SS, a similar urban scrambler based on the naked CBF190R.

The teaser image put out by Honda India does bear some resemblance to the design of the CB190SS. The sleek tail section, the curved-rectangular LED tail-light, and the arrowhead-shaped turn indicators are somewhat similar to the small Chinese bike.

The CB190SS gets large block-pattern tyres with spoke rims. While the latter feature isn’t going to be present on the teased bike, the CB350-based scrambler also sports such tyres, namely MRF’s Zapper Kurve. One could also draw parallels with the seat shape and stitching pattern of the seat cover, but that’s where we guess the similarities will cease to exist.

There’s a lot more to be known regarding the new Honda, all of which will be revealed on February 16. Do you like the name CB350SS or you wish it will be something else? Let us know in the comments or on our social media channels.
