Honda Navi Crosses 1 Lakh Sales Mark

Honda's popular moto scoot, the Navi, recently crossed the 1 lakh unit sales mark. It has taken the Navi two and half years to cross this milestone since its launch all the way back at the 2016 Auto Expo. Notably, it is the first completely indigenously developed two-wheeler under Honda India's R&D department.

The Navi was also discontinued for a short period of time due to BSIV norms, before being revived again just a few weeks ago at a price of Rs 44,775 (ex-showroom Delhi). The updated Honda Navi now comes with a BSIV-compliant engine, a metal muffler protector, new body-coloured parts and two new colour options - Green and Brown. On this occasion, the company has also announced that the Navi will enter two new international markets - Costa Rica and Dominican Republic.

Gurugram, August 16 ,2018: Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India Pvt Ltd (HMSI) today announced the FUNtastic NAVilution spreading across 1 Lac happy custo-maniacs. Honda disrupted Indian 2Wheeler industry with the launch of NAVi amongst huge fan fair at Auto Expo 2016. The ‘most talked about’ two-wheeler of the country- Honda NAVi is the first 100% indigenously developed model by Honda R&D India i.e. from the concept development to commercial production.

Spreading the FUN element not only in India but around the world, Honda NAVi will be available in two new international markets- the Dominican Republic and Costa Rica within this year. Currently, NAVi is exported to 10 countries.

Honda NAVi is powered by 109cc engine which makes 8PS at 7,000 rpm and delivers a peak torque of 8.96Nm at 5,500rpm gets tubeless tyres. It gets upside-down telescopic forks at the front and a hydraulic monoshock at the rear. The NAVi is available at an attractive price of Rs. 44,775 (ex-showroom Delhi)

The standard NAVi is available in 6 colour options: Patriot Red, Shasta White, Sparky Orange, Black, NEWRanger Green, NEWLadakh Brown.
