The Hyundai Motor India Foundation has announced that it is accepting entries for the H-Social Creator, which is a social innovator program for Indian youth. It will be conducted in five cities - Delhi NCR, Mumbai, Pune, Bengaluru and Chennai.
The initiative, which is coming to India for the first time, aims to find and build social innovators and future thinkers. Graduate or postgraduate students can participate and put forth a fresh and powerful idea based on road safety, environment and clean India.
October 23, 2019, is the last date for sending applications, which can be either a 60-second video or a short document. Participants will be subject to a detailed selection process and the winner will be announced during a ceremony in November in New Delhi. The winning idea will also receive a seed funding of Rs 15 lakh and it will be implemented by the Hyundai Motor India Foundation.

New Delhi, September 27, 2019: Hyundai Motor India Foundation, a philanthropic arm of the Hyundai Motor India limited, India’s first smart mobility solutions provider and the largest exporter since inception announces entries open for participation in globally acclaimed H-Social Creator, a Social Innovator CSR Program for Indian Youth. The H-Social Creator Program was first instituted by Hyundai Motor Company in South Korea in 2015.
H-Social Creator will be industry’s First Youth Contact Program to build Social Innovators and Future Thinkers. The platform will acknowledge India’s First H-Social Creator - a Graduate or a Post Graduate student who will develop a novel idea based on any of these three categories namely Road Safety, Environment and Clean India. The idea should have the power to create a magnanimous impact.
Commenting on the initiative, Mr. S.S.Kim, MD & CEO, HMIL said “The Social Innovation sphere in India has witnessed immense growth in the last one decade. The H-Social Creator will serve as a platform for budding catalysts of social change to be visionaries. As a socially responsible brand in India, we would like to foster new talent by providing them with right mentorship and assets to bring alive their dream cause.”
The H-Social Creator will be held in five cities i.e. Delhi NCR, Mumbai, Pune, Bengaluru and Chennai. The applications for participation will be accepted till October 23, 2019. The college students may submit their entries via 60 second video or a one-page word document at www.hsocialcreator.in. Participants can also Whatsapp their idea via video or word document as stated with complete details (name, address, phone number, age, college, current academic status) on 961-961-5115. Candidates can submit minimum one idea of solution from either of the issues and can submit more ideas by filling separate entries.

The winner will be announced during a ceremony to be held in the month of November 2019 in New Delhi. The winning idea will receive a seed capital funding of Rs.15 lakh and the idea will be implemented on ground by Hyundai Motor India Foundation.
