While the SX Executive might be more affordable than the SX, it misses out on an infotainment system. However, Hyundai has still provided the SX Executive with steering-mounted audio controls and six speakers. So one can use the extra cash and invest in a decent head unit with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility.
Apart from that, the SX Executive also misses out on chrome door handles, the Arkamys sound system, and a burglar alarm.
This variant also comes with features such as wireless charging, a panoramic sunroof, auto air conditioning, and cruise control. It also features puddle lamps, LED headlamps with LED DRLs, auto-folding ORVMs, 17-inch silver-finished alloy wheels, and rear disc brakes.
Safety is taken care of by dual airbags, ABS with EBD, electronic stability control, rear parking camera with parking sensors, and hill assist.
Under the hood, the SX Executive comes with a 115PS/144Nm 1.5-litre NA petrol engine and a 115PS/250Nm 1.5-litre diesel engine. Both engines are offered with a sole 6-speed manual gearbox. While other variants also get these engines, a few get the option of the 140PS/242Nm 1.4-litre turbo-petrol unit. Automatic transmissions include 7-speed DCT for the turbo-petrol, CVT for the NA petrol, and 6-speed torque converter for the diesel unit.
Hyundai retails the Creta from Rs 9.99 lakh to Rs 17.70 lakh (ex-showroom). It takes on the likes of the Kia Seltos, MG Hector, Tata Harrier, Nissan Kicks, and the Skoda Kushaq.
