Rain, dust and shock protection as per U.S. military standards and hassle-free wireless Bluetooth headsets sound like something the secret services would use to communicate. In reality, it’s just an everyday sports headset that will connect to your phone or Bluetooth-enabled music player while you drive to work or when you work out.

The Jabra advanced multiuse option connects to two different devices simultaneously and
will enable you to use both of them at your convenience. According to Ann Goh, Regional Sales Manager, GN Netcom, who’s responsible for mobile products business in South East Asia, “With the Jabra Sport you get exceptional music and call sound quality. It has A2DP, AM3D power bass audio enhancement and a wind-shielded microphone. It also has a built-in FM radio so you can tune in to your favourite station while you work out.”

The ultra tough Jabra Sport is lightweight and easy to wear, with a choice of three different and flexible ear gels. Its functionality is enhanced by the simple answer/end, play/pause, volume up/down and skip track buttons for easy access.

An application on your mobile phone called the Endomondo connects to the headset to give you instant feedback of your workout status through the phones’ accelerometer. The feedback is delivered at the press of a button via a clear voice that conveys the message.

The Jabra Sport has 4.5 hours of talk time, up to 3 hours of music time and up to 4 days of standby time. The headset can be yours at a price tag of Rs 5,999.
