Jaguar XE Prestige Launched At Rs 43.69 Lakh

Jaguar has finally launched the XE’s Prestige petrol variant to its Indian line up. The Prestige has been priced at Rs 43.69 lakh (ex-showroom, Mumbai) and is placed above the base Pure trim, but below the top-spec Portfolio version. Both of these variants are available at Rs 39.9 lakh and Rs 47.99 lakh respectively.

The Prestige trims get few more additions in term of features over the Pure trim such as interior mood lightings, Taurus leather appointments, memory function for driver seat, sliding sunroof, a 380W sound system by Meridian and four-way lumbar support settings.

However, the Prestige trim shares the same 2.0-litre inline four-cylinder turbo motor available in the Pure trim. It produces close to 200PS of power and 320Nm of torque which lends it the ability to accelerate from 0 to 100kmph in just 7.7 seconds, while it can achieve a top speed of 237kmph. The Portfolio trim, however, is available with a higher state of tune churned from the same engine. It gets 240PS of power and 340Nm of torque, enabling the Portfolio version to hit the ton in just 6.8 seconds and a top speed of 250kmph.
