Kawasaki has setup a special website where it has uploaded a teaser video of its upcoming superbike. The new bike has been christened Kawasaki H2, which has been inspired from the 750cc Mach IV H2 of the 1970’s. What makes the Kawasaki H2 interesting is the speculation that it will be powered by a supercharged in-line-four cylinder motor that should enable it to generate bonkers amount of power output. It will be safe to guess that the upcoming Kawasaki H2’s motor will pump out in excess of 250PS of peak power.

Adding fuel to the speculation is the quote, “The Ninja H2 was not designed with meeting regulations a primary concern. Kawasaki’s latest flagship is the result of a pure exercise in pushing the limits of motorcycle technology with the goal of creating the ideal road sports bike.” It seems that the Kawasaki H2 will be powered by the same supercharged in-line-four engine that was showcased at the 2013 Tokyo Motor Show.

The Kawasaki H2 will most likely be the new flagship offering for the Japanese two-wheeler giant replacing the ZX-14R Ninja. The Kawasaki H2 will make its global debut at the Intermot Motorcycle Show in Germany on September 30. If the above speculation does come true, then the new bike will be among the most important launches of 2014. For more details watch this space.
