Kawasaki KLX110 launched at Rs 2.65 lakh

The new Kawasaki KLX110 has been priced at Rs 2.65 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). The new Kawasaki KLX110 is an off-road play-bike for youngsters and mini-moto enthusiast, which draws its lines from the flagship Motocross KX450. The KLX1010 will be a CBU offering which will be imported directly from Kawasaki Heavy Industries, Japan.

The KLX110 will be sold solely by IKM India Kawasaki Motors (IKM) through the manufacturers’ sales network. The KLX110 is powered by an 112cc 4-stroke air-cooled engine producing max output of 7.3PS and 8Nm of torque. Power is transmitted to the rear tyre via a 4-speed return transmission with a centrifugal clutch. The KLX110 has a low seat height, long travel suspension. The KLX110 will come with an electric starter which allows hassle-free starting for both the electric and kick starter. Braking is done via drum brakes at both the wheels. The small off-roader weighs at 76kgs and has a fuel holding capacity of 3.8 litre. The KLX110 will be available only in the Kawasaki Lime green colour.
