Kawasaki To Launch 4 New Motorcycles in January, 2017

Following the showcase of the 2017 edition H2 and introduction of the H2 Carbon edition at the Intermot Motorcycle show in Germany, Kawasaki without any delay has launched the new motorcycles in India. Till now Kawasaki was only selling the regular H2 in India. Now, the company has introduced the 2017-edition Ninja H2, carrying a sticker price of Rs 33.30 lakh. Moreover, the Japanese bike manufacturer has gone ahead and also launched the Limited Edition Ninja H2 Carbon and H2R as well, both priced at Rs 39.80 lakh and Rs 69.80 lakh respectively. (All prices are ex-showroom, Delhi).
Speaking of the H2 Carbon, the bike features carbon-fibre upper cowl in a matte finish that instantaneously distinguishes the Carbon edition from the regular H2. The production of the H2 Carbon will be limited to only 120 units and each motorcycle will receive a serial number stamped on the supercharger plate.
For the 2017 edition, both the Ninja H2 and H2R receive Kawasaki's most advanced electronics package that comprises of the IMU (Inertial Measurement Unit), updated KTRC (Kawasaki Traction Control) and KIBS (Kawasaki Intelligent Anti-Lock Braking System). Other updates include Ohlins TTX rear shock, revised exhaust system to meet Euro 4 norms, quick shifter for seamless downshifts and lean angle display.
The 998cc liquid-cooled 4-cyclinder engine is now Euro-4 compliant. In the H2, the motor is tuned to produce 210PS of max power and 133.5Nm of peak torque. While in the H2R, the engine has been extensively tuned by Kawasaki to develop 326PS of power and 165Nm of torque.
