Kia Sonet Arrives At Dealerships. Expected Variant-Wise Prices And More

• Bookings for the Sonet began recently for a token amount of Rs 25,000.

• It gets slightly better fuel efficiency than the Venue despite sharing the same powertrain options.

• The Sonet will be available in a total of 6 variants and 11 colour options, including three dual-tone options.

• It is expected to be priced from Rs 6.60 lakh to Rs 12.90 lakh (ex-showroom).

• It will launch around mid-September. 

Kia had recently opened bookings for the Sonet for an amount of Rs 25,000. We can now expect test drives to begin in the first week of this month as the sub-4m starts filling up inventory at dealerships across the country.

Based on the Venue, the Sonet is gearing up to debut at the top of the segment. It gets better fuel efficiency and even some changes despite sharing its powertrain options with the Hyundai. In the turbo-petrol variant the Sonet will completely forego the option of the manual transmission seen in the Venue. It will also have a first-in-segment torque converter diesel automatic. With the Sonet nearing its mid-September launch, the excitement for the sub-4m SUV is at an all time high.
