Kia Motors India is gearing up for its next big launch in India, the Sonet. The sub-4 metre SUV is all set to debut on September 18 and we've already got our hands on the pictures of an accessorised Sonet. If you’re keen on jazzing up your Sonet, this report may be helpful. We will update you with the prices of these accessories as soon as we have them.
Chrome Loaded!
If you love bling, you'll love these chrome trims. This includes chrome surrounds around the fog lamps, on the doors as well as the headlamp and tail lamp surrounds. That’s not it. You can add chrome on the door handles, optional window visors, and the ORVMs as well.
The Stealth Look
If you prefer something more subtle, you can opt for gloss black trims on the corners of the front and rear bumper. This not only aids its design, but also ensures added protection.
That said, the fake vents for the hood and front quarter panel look a tad tacky.
Practicality… Check
Ingress and egress isn't an issue with the Sonet. However, if you want your little Kia to imitate larger SUVs you can opt for side steps.
Open the door and you’ll notice these door sills, which protect the body work from dirt.
Door visors are also available, which come in handy during the rains. You can open the window a bit to prevent the windshield from fogging up. Expect more accessories to drop in once the Sonet goes on sale.
The Kia Sonet will be offered in six variants with a wide range of powertrain options. You can learn more about it in detail by clicking here. It’ll be offered in two broad trims: Tech Line and GT Line. Click here to know how these two variants differ in terms of looks.
Prices for the Sonet will be announced on September 18. Its rivals include the Hyundai Venue, Ford EcoSport, Tata Nexon, Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza, Mahindra XUV300, and the upcoming Toyota Urban Cruiser.
