Mahindra's tough machine Bolero has reclaimed the top spot for maximum sales in the month of October. Hyundai Creta had been leading ahead of Mahindra's Bolero SUV for last two months since its launch. Mahindra sold 7,754 units of the Bolero in October, while Hyundai managed to sell 7,225 units of the Creta. The difference is slim with 529 units.
The case wasn't the same in September when Hyundai managed to sell 7,320 units of Creta while the Bolero that sold 5,585 units. Similarly in August, the Creta once again outsold the Bolero with 7,437 units sold as opposed to 4,804 units of the Bolero.
Apart from the Bolero, the freshly launched Mahindra TUV 300 is also generating volumes for Mahindra. The TUV 300 put behind Ford's compact SUV EcoSport, the only other sub-4 metre SUV in the country. In October 2015, Ford could only manage to sell 3,417 units of the EcoSport against 4,551 units of Mahindra TUV 300.
