A few weeks earlier, we exclusively reported about the updated Mahindra Marazzo’s variant-wise pricing received from our sources. Now, the manufacturer has officially revealed the prices on its website. The BS6-compliant Marazzo is priced from Rs 11.25 lakh and is offered in three variants. The top-spec M8 variant has been discontinued from the lineup while the M4 and M6 have been replaced by M4+ and M6+ respectively. Here are the detailed prices:

As seen in the table above, the base-spec Marazzo is dearer by a whopping Rs 1.25 lakh. However, since the top-spec M8 variant has been discontinued, the new M6+ variant is Rs 1.17 lakh more affordable than before.
The Marazzo is powered by an updated BS6-compliant 1.5-litre diesel engine that develops an identical 121PS of power (100PS in Eco) and 300Nm of torque. A 6-speed manual transmission is the only gearbox on offer at the moment. An automatic variant could join the lineup in the coming months.
Moreover, Mahindra will also offer its MPV with a new 1.5-litre mStallion petrol engine that develops 163PS. This engine is likely to be offered with both manual and automatic transmission options soon.

There’s no changes in design but we know that the variant lineup has been rejigged now. You can read the detailed variant-wise feature list of the updated model right here. The top-spec variant gets features such as a touchscreen infotainment system, climate control, steering mounted audio controls, keyless entry and a coloured multi-info display. Safety features include dual airbags, ABS with EBD, rear parking sensors, rear disc brakes and ISOFIX child seat mounts.
Mahindra's Marazzo has been an average performer in the country. Sure, it doesn’t have any direct rivals but it faces stiff competition from the Maruti Suzuki Ertiga and XL6 as well as the Toyota Innova Crysta. Will the updated BS6 Marazzo appeal more to your heart than before? Let us know in the comments below.
