Mahindra Two Wheelers has updated its touring offering, the Mojo, with the addition of a new ‘Sunburst Yellow’ colour shade. Mahindra had showcased the bike with the new colour scheme at the 2016 Auto Expo held in Delhi. Now, even the radiator fins and both mudguards come painted in the new Sunburst Yellow colour, as opposed to the black-painted ones on the other colour shades.
Apart from the addition of the new colour option, the rest of the bike does not receive any updates. On the mechanical front, the bike is powered by a 395cc fuel-injected, liquid-cooled DOHC, single-cylinder petrol motor that pumps out 27PS of max power at 8000rpm and 30Nm of peak torque at 5500rpm. The engine comes mated to a 6-speed gearbox.
Other cycle parts include upside down forks at the front and a monoshock at the rear. Braking duties are handled by a 320mm disc with radial calipers at the front and a 240mm disc with floating caliper at the back. The bike comes with sticky Pirelli Diablo Rosso II tyres measuring 110/70 at the front and 150/60 at the rear.
Mahindra had also launched the tourer edition of the Mojo last month that comes with a host of accessories to benefit the functionality for long distance rides. The list consists of a 13-litre magnetic tank bag, set of saddle bags, a carrier with top box compatibility and pannier mounts. It also comes with a mobile holder, additional front guard for protection, and a set of 20W fog lamps.
