Suzuki is hoping to close this financial year with some good sales numbers. The company is offering a discount (valid until March 31) of Rs 1.15 lakh on the V-Strom 650XT, which currently retails at Rs 8.84 lakh (ex-showroom India). By availing of this offer, you get accessories worth Rs 65,000 for free on the purchase of the V-Strom 650XT. The list includes an accessory bar, an aluminium chain guard, and a centre stand.
For the second component of the offer, customers can either claim an exchange benefit worth Rs 50,000 or an insurance benefit up to Rs 40,000. The exchange policy is only valid on 350cc+ motorcycles.
The legal documents required for the credit note include a copy of the RC book of the to-be exchanged vehicle, the customer’s undertaking, a copy of the transferred RC book, proof of relationship for the old vehicle (mother, father, brother, sister, spouse, and children only), Vahan registration acknowledgement, and a copy of the new vehicle’s insurance.
Apart from the Suzuki V-Strom 650XT, you also have options like the recently launched Honda CB500X and the Kawasaki Versys 650 in the mid-capacity segment. While both bikes cost less than the V-Strom 650XT, they are more road-biased ADVs. The Suzuki, on the other hand, offers a better off-road experience, thanks to its spoked wheels and dual-purpose tyres.
