Mercedes-Benz has also inaugurated its largest 3S showroom In Chennai

 

  • This announcement comes on the back off the carmaker delivering over 200 units in Mumbai, Gujarat and other markets during the festive season.

With Mercedes-Benz India recently sparkling this festive season with over 200 units delivered in Mumbai, Gujarat and other markets, the carmaker has announced that it has sold over 10,000 cars for the fifth consecutive year. Martin Schwenk, MD & CEO, Mercedes-Benz India made this announcement at the launch of the carmaker’s largest 3S showroom in Chennai.

This new dealership, Sundaram Motors covers an area spanning around 72,000 sq ft. The showroom was set up within five months and consists of over 136 professionally strained staff. Some highlights of the new dealership include displaying six cars at a time and 63 service bay workshop for body and paint jobs. Mercedes claims that the showroom is capable of servicing up to 15,000 cars annually. The new dealership also provides comforts for customers with Café Mercedes, a customer lounge and a retail outlet for all Mercedes-Benz accessories and collections.

With this new showroom, Mercedes-Benz India continues to increase its footprint in the country, with a network spread across 47 cities and 94 outlets.

India’s largest luxury carmaker Mercedes-Benz today inaugurated one of Chennai’s largest luxury car dealerships, Sundaram Motors. Mercedes-Benz India Managing Director and CEO Martin Schwenk and Sundaram Motors Executive Director Sharath Vijayaraghavan inaugurated the facility that reaffirms Mercedes-Benz’s commitment to reach out to customers and grow the luxury car segment in key metros. The state-of-the-art luxury dealership is spread across a massive area of 72,000 sq. ft with a 6 - car display and 63 service bays that can service up to 15000 cars a year and underlines Mercedes-Benz’s bullish approach for the Indian market. Situated in the city’s auto-hub, the 3S facility (sales, service and spares) will serve as one-stop shop for all sales and customer service requirements in Chennai and adjoining areas.
