MG Motor India Auto Expo 2025 Lineup Out: Premium MPV, Sportscar, SUV, Sedan And Lot More

MG Motor will showcase a range of both electric and ICE offerings in their pavilion-themed ‘Drive.future’.

MG Motor India has officially announced its lineup for the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025, showcasing six diverse vehicles across categories, including sports cars, MPVs, sedans, and SUVs, in a mix of both electric and ICE configurations. Visitors will also have the opportunity to explore additional models from MG's global and India portfolio at their pavilion, themed ‘Drive.future’, at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi, during the expo scheduled from January 17 to 22. Here's a closer look at the models set to be showcased:

MG Cyberster

MG Motor India has extended its brand channel in India expanding into an exclusive ‘MG Select’ sub-brand that beholds the carmaker’s premium models only. The first car to join this list is the all-electric Cyberster two-door convertible roadster that comes equipped with a 77 kWh battery pack paired with dual motors that put out 510 PS and 725 Nm and with that it runs from 0 to 100 kmph in 3.2 seconds. The car has already been available in global markets and for the Indian unit, it would have its chassis tuned by none other than former Italian F1 Engineer Marco Fainello. It is expected to be priced around Rs 75 lakh to Rs 80 lakh (ex-showroom).

MG Cyberster

MG M9

The second car to join the MG Select portfolio is the M9, the electric MPV that the brand for India just recently unveiled. In global markets, it is available as the Mifa 9. The car is loaded with luxury with India-spec confirmed features like a dual panoramic sunroof, second-row captain seats and ottoman seats with 8 massage modes, and 3-zone climate control. The cabin will get a beige/tan theme. Internationally, it is also equipped with features like a 12.3-inch infotainment screen, a 7-inch digital driver’s display, ventilated seats, a wireless phone charger, an air purifier, a 12-speaker sound system, all window one-touch up/down, 64-colour ambient lighting, sunshades and rain-sensing wipers. We expect it to be priced around Rs 70 lakh, being an electric alternative to the Kia Carnival.

MG M9

MG Windsor EV

The MG Windsor EV resulted in a boon for the brand justifiably garnering all the buzz that a brand would like to have generated. Firstly, it debuted the carmaker’s battery rental scheme which is then extended to many other of their models. The Windsor EV also brought a unique body style with many features like 15.6-inch infotainment, ventilated front seats, 135-degree reclining rear seats, a fixed glass roof and a 9-speaker Infinity sound system. It comes equipped with an 8 kWh battery pack and a claimed range of 332 km. It is priced between Rs 9.99 lakh to Rs 15.5 lakh (ex-showroom). Till date, the car has been the best-selling EV in India for three consecutive months selling over 10,000 units already.

MG iML6

The MG iML6, an all-electric luxury SUV, is set to strengthen MG’s electric portfolio in India. Known globally as the Marvel R, the iML6 comes with a 70 kWh battery pack that powers dual motors, delivering 288 PS and 665 Nm of torque. It offers a claimed range of 402 km on a single charge. The SUV features a futuristic design, highlighted by a sleek LED light bar, aerodynamic silhouette, and premium interiors. Key highlights include a 19.4-inch infotainment system, 360-degree camera, ADAS Level-2 features, and a panoramic sunroof. The MG iML6 is expected to be priced between Rs 50 lakh and Rs 55 lakh (ex-showroom).

MG 7 Trophy

The MG 7 Trophy, a premium fastback sedan, will be showcased as one of the flagships under the brand’s ‘MG Select’ portfolio. Powered by a 2-litre turbo petrol engine, it produces 261 PS and 405 Nm, paired with a 9-speed automatic transmission. This performance-focused sedan boasts a striking coupe-like design with a sloping roofline and bold front grille. Inside, it features a 33-inch curved display, a 14-speaker Bose sound system, multi-zone climate control, and ventilated seats. It is expected to carry a price tag of around Rs 40 lakh (ex-showroom) in India.

MG Hector

The MG Hector, MG’s highly popular mid-size SUV, continues to be a cornerstone in the brand’s Indian lineup. Now available in both ICE and hybrid powertrains, the Hector gets a 1.5-litre turbo petrol engine and a 2-litre diesel engine, with the petrol also offered in a mild-hybrid variant. Known for its spacious cabin and technology-first approach, the Hector features a 14-inch HD touchscreen infotainment system, ADAS features, ventilated seats, and a panoramic sunroof. The latest iteration also includes dual-tone interiors, wireless charging, and over-the-air updates for its infotainment system. Priced between Rs 15 lakh and Rs 23 lakh (ex-showroom), the Hector competes with segment leaders like the Tata Harrier and Mahindra XUV700.
