MindTree’s ATCC system is designed to address the key challenges faced in deployment of traditional sensor-based counting and classification systems like portability, accuracy and availability of evidence for audit. ATCC is a video-based solution that provides high accuracy in real time vehicle counting and classification, operating on a 24 x 7 basis. A key differentiator for MindTree’s ATCC system is its capability to classify a vehicle in up to nine different categories. The system captures an image snapshot for every vehicle that is counted and classified, ensuring the integrity of data and reports. ATCC data collected is tamper proof ensuring that the reports cannot be deleted, modified or altered by any user.
The ATCC system has been designed to work well on Indian roads that pose unique challenges in terms of diversity of traffic and lack of lane discipline. The system is capable of detecting the direction and speed at which a vehicle is travelling. It provides daily, weekly, monthly and ad-hoc reports in NHAI specified format. ATCC system is the latest addition to MindTree’s Intelligent Video Surveillance product portfolio; it strengthens MindTree’s ability to offer video-based solutions for traffic and transportation industry.
